A livestream, University of Oregon event discussing the role of academia, state and the federal government at a time of urgently needed transition to address climate change. UO Law professor Greg Dotson will discuss his engagement with the U.S. Senate as it developed and passed the historic bipartisan bill, the resulting infusion of resources to the state of Oregon and how the package addresses climate change. The event will also inform and guide our communities on current and emerging state, regional and national opportunities related to the bipartisan infrastructure package including specific emphasis on the provisions that will help decarbonize the future. The event is sponsored by the Office of the Provost, the Environment Initiative and the School of Law’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center.
