Edward Mazria is an internationally recognized architect, author, researcher, and educator. Over the past decade, Ed Mazria’s seminal research into Building Sector energy use and carbon emissions has reshaped our understanding of climate change. He is the founder of Architecture 2030, a non-partisan, non-profit research organization developing planning, policy, and design solutions for low-carbon, resilient built environments worldwide. Ed will receive the Edward C. Kemper Award from the AIA in 2015, just before our Symposium. Ed Mazria has taught at the University of Oregon.
