John Reynolds Sustainability Symposium, Jean Carroon

This inaugural event brings internationally renowned practitioners, researchers, and thought-leaders to campus for lectures, panel discussions, networking, and sharing. This symposium honors Professor Emeritus John Reynolds’ decades of contributions to sustainable design and energy policy.

Jean Carroon, FAIA, LEED AP and LEED Fellow is the author of Sustainable Preservation; Greening Existing Buildings published by John Wiley & Sons in 2010. She is a principal in the Boston-based design firm Goody Clancy, leading the Preservation Practice Group, and directing the work on over a dozen National Historic Landmarks, including H.H. Richardson’s Trinity Church, the Massachusetts State House and the original Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. A former chair of the AIA Historic Resources Committee, Jean’s work and strong advocacy for creative preservation has been recognized through numerous awards. She earned a B.A. from the Robert D. Clark Honors College and an M. Arch from the University of Oregon.
