The UO Residence Hall Association presents a community conversations panel entitled ‘are professors too liberal?’ This moderated discussion weighed the evidence and argued about this controversial issue. A recent study cited by 72% of those teaching at American Universities and colleges are liberal, whereas 15% are conservative. Clearly, the issue is not are the faculty liberal, but are they too liberal? Do professors push their own opinions on students, effectively indoctrinating them?
