Ovalle’s research interests include Film History, the representation of race, Latino/a studies, and Dance in Film. Lima’s research and teaching interests include Literature of the Americas, 19th Century American Novel, Narrative Theory and the Theory of the Novel, –as well as Native American and Central American fiction, and the literature of the Mexican Revolution.
