UO Today #408 Joanna Blendulf and Annalisa Pappano

This episode features musicians Joanna Blendulf and Annalisa Pappano. Joanna, an active chamber musician and early music specialist, teaches at the University of Oregon as an adjunct professor of musicology and at viola da gamba workshops across the country. Currently, Joanna performs with the Portland, Seattle and Indianapolis Baroque Orchestras.

Annalisa is a highly sought-after performer of the lirone, pardessus, and viola da gamba. Annalisa teaches viola da gamba at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and in 2003, led the Catacoustic Consort to win the grand prize in the Naxos/Early Music America Live Recording Competition. Currently, she performs with Baroque Northwest, the Oberlin Consort of Viols, and the Les Paisirs Durables in Brussels, Belgium.
