| Open Player in New Window

Although many of us support the development of “green” forms of energy, we must proceed with care to minimize potential damage to biodiversity.

A guest lecturer for BIO374, Conservation Biology, Jim Maloney discusses the impact of wind energy development on birds and the importance of siting guidelines. Jim has 30+ years experience in the energy and natural resources fields and is a former Taskforce member on the development of Oregon Columbia Plateau Ecoregion Wind Energy Siting Guidelines and a former EWEB Energy Resource Planner and Energy Resource Projects Manager.
