A Movement-Based Participatory Design Process
Instructor: Hope Hui Rising
This process of collective creativity uses transformative aesthetics guidelines for movement, pathway, and sensory designs, to entrain our physical, emotional, and psychic self into psychophysiological coherence states. Movement and environmental artists use a general progression of these states of consciousness to improvise and self-organize, while creating a series of coherent transformative spaces. These states of consciousness function similarly to the chords in a Jazz jam session, to enable artists from all walks of life to create a coherent sound, through a process of collective improvisations.
