“Indigenous Peoples and Climate Change” Conference – Keynote Address

On May 23, 2012 the UO’s Americas in a Globalized World Initiative, the Robert D. Clark Honors College, and the Environmental Studies Program, with additional support from the College of Arts and Sciences, the Center for Latino/a and Latin American Studies, and Latin American Studies sponsored the Indigenous Peoples and Climate Change Conference in the Many Nations Longhouse at the University of Oregon. Distinguished keynote speakers included Daniel Wildcat and Larry Mercullief discussing the impacts of climate change on indigenous and native communities.
