Brendan Bohannan, a 2009 Leopold Leadership Fellow and member of the first class of Google Science Communication Fellows, is a microbial ecologist. He studies microbes in a variety of environments using theoretical tools of ecology developed for plants and animals. His talk will introduce this year’s series and explore new frontiers in the study of microbes.
