Dr. Bobo is the W. E. B. Du Bois Professor of the Social Sciences, Harvard University; Department of Sociology and Department of African and African American Studies. His research focuses on the intersection of social inequality, politics, and race.

Dr. Bobo’s talk is part of the University of Oregon’s week of celebration honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Center on Diversity and Community (CoDaC)
