Clip is an excerpt from a 2010 film interview and exchange between communication disorders and sciences faculty emeritus Ned Christensen, and Laura Lee McIntyre, associate professor and director of the School Psychology program. McIntyre received recognition for early career research excellence from the American Psychological Association in 2010. She describes the significance of the early career research awards, how she views the relationships among research, teaching, and applied clinical psychology.

McIntyre’s research interests include early identification and treatment of young children with or at-risk for developmental and behavior disorders; transition to kindergarten; family well-being and parent-professional partnerships.
