Widely acclaimed author Diana Abu-Jaber presents a reading and talk entitled “Notes on a Writer’s Life,” in Gerlinger Lounge.
Abu-Jaber’s latest novel, Origin, was named one of the best books of the year by the LA Times, Chicago Tribune, and Washington Post, and it won the 2008 Florida Book Award bronze medal.
Abu-Jaber’s appearance is sponsored by the Oregon Humanities Center, UO Duck Store, and the Robert D. Clark Honors College. Her presentation is part of the Oregon Humanities Center’s 2010-2011 Sustenance series.
