This episode features Daniel Falk, an Associate Professor in the Religious Studies Program. Daniel Falk earned his BA at Providence College, his Master of Christian Studies at Regent College, and his Ph.D. at Cambridge. Daniel Falk’s research focuses on the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the history and literature of ancient Judaism and the beginnings of Christianity. He is writing a book on the rewritten biblical narratives in the Dead Sea Scrolls entitled “Parabiblical Texts” Humanities Center Director Steve Shankman interviews faculty, staff, and visiting lecturers about their research and interests for a 30 minute show that gives an inside look at the University of Oregon.
