This event will explore the current nature of the Latin@ electorate and the issues most relevant to this constituency. Keynotes will be given by Larry Kleinman, Head of National Initiatives of CAPACES Leadership Institute and Antonio Huerta, Outreach Manager of the Opportunities Program at the University of Oregon. Breakout sessions (hosted by UO faculty, students, and community activists) will look at themes of gender, immigration & deportation, and youth participation and specific actions our communities can take in the context of the upcoming election.
