The University of Oregon presents a silent film from 1929, titled “Ed’s Co-ed.” Following the college adventures of a freshman named Ed, the film gives us a glimpse of life at the U of O in the early 20th century. From Model T’s to cloche hats, this film is filled with relics of our past, but it also reminds us that university life has remained the same in many ways; fraternities and sororities, dating, professors lecturing about grades, registering for classes, and other common student activities have hardly changed.
