Edward Boches, Chief of Innovation at Mullen, one of two 2011 Richard Ward Executives-in-Residence at the School of Journalism and Communication. His keynote presentation, “The End of Us and Them,” in the Pape Room, Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art, Wednesday, February 16, 2011. The Ward Executive-in-Residence program was launched at the School of Journalism and Communication in 2002 to bring high-level advertising executives from around the world to UO classrooms for two to three day sessions. The program was made possible by a gift from Richard Ward, a 1977 UO Business graduate and a thirty-year veteran of the advertising industry, now CEO of 22Squared in Atlanta. Ward, a former UO Trustee and former member of the School’s Journalism Advancement Council, expanded his support of the program in 2009 in part to further the program’s global impact.
