Ian McNeely, History; President, Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Chapter of Oregon; and Chair of the UO Undergraduate Council (UGC), discusses “Letters, Laurels and Keys: A Tradition of Honors at the UO” an exhibit he co-curated with Renee Dorjahn (Clark Honors College). The exhibit takes a comprehensive look at both historic and contemporary honors societies, honors programs, and achievements of student athletes. McNeely also talks about the issue of grade inflation which the UGC is currently addressing.
