This episode features Margaret “Margie” Paris, Dean of the University of Oregon School of Law. She practiced criminal law for six years in Chicago, specializing in defense for white-collar criminal prosecutions. She came to the University of Oregon in 1992, and was appointed Dean in 2006. . She teaches advanced appellate advocacy, criminal law, criminal investigation and criminal adjudication. Margie Paris received the Orlando John Hollis Faculty Teaching Award, the law school’s highest teaching honor.
